Project

Oakton College | Program Management

In 2016, Oakton Community College (OCC) engaged Cotter to assist with the management of their capital projects and the development of a long-range Facilities Master Plan for their campuses in Des Plaines and Skokie. The Master Plan included approximately $53 million in capital improvement and deferred maintenance projects. Cotter’s responsibilities included schedule and budget management, architectural/engineering oversight, construction coordination, and ongoing communication with the campus community.

Since completion of the Master Planning process, Cotter is now acting as Project Manager for several projects that are now in the construction implementation phase.  The work to date has been transformative; updating the facilities to positively impact the student experience.
