This project provided an opportunity to interface with a large off-price apparel retailer to fit their prototype build out within the limits of the newly constructed space. Cotter worked diligently to find acceptable solutions for both the tenant and the landlord given a variety of obstacles, leaving both sides feeling equally represented.
As the Owner’s Representative, Cotter ensured the repositioning of the new core and shell of a retail building were delivered to support Acadia Realty Trust’s goals. Once completed, Cotter oversaw the build-out of the new TJMaxx location that is in the renovated retail building. Cotter’s project management services allowed Acadia, based outside of Chicago, to rely on a trusted on-site representative. The project team ensured that the TJMaxx store was completed to specifications and opened in accordance with the TJMaxx schedule.
