Cotter is leading the program controls team engaged to provide program management and controls services for the $2 billion, multi-year program portfolio for one of the nation’s largest natural gas distribution companies.

Cotter initially performed a program risk assessment to evaluate and document the existing program structure and processes. Through staff interviews and comprehensive research, the Cotter team determined the best risk assessment inputs. Industry best practices recommendations were identified and an implementation schedule was developed and executed, resulting in client-specific policies and a roles and responsibilities matrix that has been adopted across other business units. Core responsibilities for the team included budget and cost controls, change order management, program, and project scheduling services, reporting, and quantitative risk assessments in addition to program and project management covering all phases of the work.
