WisDOT Milwaukee Zoo Interchange
A deteriorating freeway system, obsolete design of the roadway and bridges, current and future capacity issues, and high crash rates were key factors leading to the redesign of the Zoo Interchange. The redesigned interchange increases efficiency, reduces accidents, and adds capacity to the roadway.
Cotter provided construction engineering and inspection of pavement, storm sewer, and grading. Cotter staff ensured compliance with plans and specifications. Cotter also provided office engineering, running pay estimates, preparing change justifications and modifications.
