Cotter Consulting, Inc. is pleased to announce that Borut Vujic, PE has joined the firm as Group Manager, Transportation. With over 15 years of experience, Borut joins the Cotter leadership team to provide strategic planning, business development, division and staff management, and employee development for Cotter’s Transportation Group. Borut’s depth of experience with transportation agencies and officials across the State of Illinois allows him to understand the needs and exceed the expectations of our infrastructure clients.

Borut expressed his enthusiasm about his new role, sharing “I am thrilled about the opportunity to join such a great organization as Cotter. I am hoping that my skills, experience and expertise will help Cotter grow.”

Vice President of Transportation, Joseph Hunn, PE said, “We are excited to add such an experienced professional to the Transportation team. Borut will be playing a large part in the growth of the division and the expansion of the services we will be able to offer to clients. He brings a new set of project experience to the company and fresh ideas about new markets.”

Prior to joining Cotter, Borut served as Senior Resident Engineer with Omega and Associates and Resident Engineer with V3 Companies. Originally from Bosnia and Herzegovina (formerly Yugoslavia), Borut holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago and currently serves as a Board Member and Awards Coordinator for the Illinois ASCE Construction Institute.
