Acoustical Technician

As Acoustical Technician, Hannah Knorr is responsible for conducting home inventories, pre-and post-construction noise audits, and assisting with field measurement appointments at the Chicago Department of Aviation’s Residential Sound Insulation Program (RSIP). She is experienced with computer-aided acoustical modeling and sound testing hardware and is familiar with acoustic standards for ASHRAE, IBC, FGI guidelines, LEED, and ANSI-12.60. As a former acoustical consultant, she has experience providing noise impact studies, field testing, design and materials recommendations, and sound engineering.
