Cotter Gets Involved: Serving Meals with Breakthrough

By Clinton Snider

On Saturday, December 9th, Cotter employees partnered with Breakthrough, a Chicago-based nonprofit that connects people experiencing homelessness to opportunities to build connections and develop skills. Breakthrough’s work is guided by the belief that homelessness is a situation and not an identity.

Our team of volunteers provided, cooked, and served lunch to 30 guests staying in the Breakthrough Men’s Center. We were proud to aid in Breakthrough’s service to people experiencing homelessness.

Many thanks to Keisha Johnson, Jordan Nunn, Phyllis Pitts, Domnica Lica-Munteanu, Victor Munteanu, Cristina Warnock, and Sophie Warnock for representing Cotter during this impactful volunteering initiative.
