Metra Hosts Groundbreaking of Reconstruction of Commuter Rails

By Clinton Snider

Cotter’s Mohammed Khan had the privilege of attending Metra Commuter Rail’ groundbreaking ceremony for the Metra Electric Line at 79th, 87th, 103rd St. Station. Cotter is subconsultant to Arcadis providing construction management services on this exciting project, located on the South side of Chicago!

The project is part of large-scale initiative, the Metra Electric Community Initiative, that focuses on making the selected stations more ADA-accessible to those with disabilities. The initiative reinforces Metra’s commitment as a community-focused organization meant to serve publics of varying capabilities and uniqueness. Cotter is excited be a part of the project and support and we look forward to a long and successful partnership and all parties involved.
