Bill leads the firm’s business, compliance, human resources, legal and risk management functions, as well as various corporate and employee development initiatives. Bill also serves as the program attorney for the O’Hare and Midway Airport Residential Sound Insulation Programs.
Bill joined Cotter in 2012 after practicing law for several years in the public and private sectors, attaining significant litigation and transactional experience in the process. Bill successfully completed the Chicago Management Institute executive education program through the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and is a past participant in the Illinois Road and Transportation Builders’ Emerging Leaders Program. Bill has been a frequent guest lecturer on construction law and risk management topics. Bill is a member of the Construction Management Association of America and the Illinois Road and Transportation Builders Association. He is also a member of the Association of Corporation Counsel and the Chicago Bar Association.
