Cotter provided construction management services for this $1.6 million contract with ISHTA located along Jane Addams Memorial Tollway (I-90) at IL 47 in Kane County. The general scope of work included filling the wet and dry Detention Pond 2 between the Ramp F and Ramp E infield area, modifications to the existing Detention Pond 1, including partially filling the permanent wet and expanding dry detention area. The project also included Ramp E outside shoulder removal and increasing width of the left shoulder, cleaning of existing underdrains under Ramp E, lighting modifications, pavement markings and signage installation/relocation, erosion control, and MOT. Cotter provided the resident engineer, materials coordinator, and inspection for the project. Services included on-site inspection, contract review, design change oversight, geotechnical inspection and testing, record preparation, and project documentation.
