Evanston Township High School District 202 Centennial Campaign Project

To celebrate the centennial anniversary of its founding, Evanston Township High School (ETHS) launched a Centennial Campaign. This initiative outlined key capital construction projects, administrative remodels, deferred maintenance tasks, and site improvements.

As part of the Centennial Campaign, ETHS reimagined its former Arts Wing, located at the south end of the campus, into the “Arts and Innovation Wing.” The work not only sets a precedent for future Master Plan renovations but also includes flagship projects like transforming the multi-purpose room Alumni Hall and re-purposing the Little Theater into a multi-use facility.

Cotter serves as the Owner’s Representative (OR) for the Centennial Campaign, supporting the development and management of the initiative. Cotter’s responsibilities encompass planning the qualifications-based selection (QBS) process for the Architect of Record and providing comprehensive project management services from pre-planning through closeout. In the campaign’s first phase, Cotter oversaw the renovation of the Alumni Hall, including stakeholder engagement during the initial planning phase, design and construction coordination, cooperative procurement management, budget and schedule management.

The project is ongoing, with renovations to the Arts Wing progressing in multiple phases. Cotter will continue to provide Owner’s Representative (OR) services throughout the duration of the project.
