The Fort Campbell Middle School project funded by the Department of Defense Education Activity was a $77 million replacement of Barkley Elementary School and Wassom Middle School on Kentucky’s Fort Campbell. Cotter, as a subcontractor to Woolpert, Inc., provided construction cost estimating services for the renovation of an existing 41,000 sf facility and the addition of a new 126,000 sf facility.

The new space included classrooms, a gymnasium, information center, computer lab, kitchen and cafeteria, music room, art room, special education room, teacher work rooms, counseling areas and administrative offices.
