Cotter Participates in Chicago River Day 2024
Cotter employees spent a sunny afternoon helping clean up the Chicago River for the 32nd Annual Chicago River Day River Cleanup with Friends of the Chicago River! For over thirty years, thousands of volunteers across the Chicagoland area have come together as a community to clean litter from the river system, which provides critical habitat for diverse species of animals and over 75 species of fish. The Chicago River is a vital artery for the region and its inhabitants, and Friends of the Chicago River is dedicated to enhancing the river’s health, transforming it into a scenic and accessible green space throughout the Chicago area that benefits both the environment and the community. Their efforts support ecological health and foster community revitalization.
Cotter is proud to support this mission to keep our local waterways clean!
