As Woodard & Curran‘s Chief Executive Officer, President, and Chairman, Douglas McKeown is responsible for the firm’s overall performance and strategic direction. Over his 26 years, he has played a significant role in the firm’s growth from 80 employees to over 1000, with 32 offices across the country. Woodard & Curran is ranked #70 in the 2019 ENR Top 500 list of engineering firms. Doug is a member of Cotter Consulting’s Advisory Board.
He was elected to Woodard & Curran’s Board in 2001, appointed CEO in 2007 and Board Chair in 2009. Doug holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Dayton and an M.B.A. from Boston College. He is a Board member for Mercy Hospital in Portland, Maine and served as a Board member for Walter P Moore in Houston. Douglas McKeown is passionate about the firm’s culture, its Mission around its people, and he is committed to maintaining Woodard & Curran’s success as a privately held firm.
A primary focus for me, which is critical to success in our business, has been to connect our employees to our purpose and our commitment to private ownership where today 1/3 of our employees own stock.
