Chicago Transit Authority
Brown Line Capacity Expansion Project

SERVICES: Safety oversight and construction inspection services for rail capacity expansion project
SIZE: 9.1 mile route, including 18 stations
PROJECT COST: $530 million
SIGNIFICANT FEATURES:
- Streamlined and expanded capacity for the CTA’s third busiest line, accommodating 95,000+ riders daily
- Stations and tracks were reconstructed, signal systems were upgraded and traction power substations were upgraded and constructed to accommodate eight-car trains and more passengers
- Newly modernized stations are handicap accessible, feature wider stairways, elevators, escalators, additional entrances and exits, and more turnstiles to ease congestion when entering or exiting stations

Wisconsin Department of Transportation/URS
Marquette Interchange
Milwaukee, Wisconsin
SERVICES: Member of the Program management team for the reconstruction of the Marquette Interchange freeway and its associated bridges (Current staff also provided project controls, managing issues and cost at complete)
SIZE: Five miles of Interstate highway, 28 ramps and over 55 bridges
PROJECT COSTS: $810 million
SIGNIFICANT FEATURES:
- The largest and most expensive road construction project in Wisconsin history at the time
- Vital to the region's economy and transportation system, Interstate 43, 94, 794, and U.S. Highway 41 all converge at this one point
- Completed two months ahead of schedule and $15 million under the original budget

Illinois Tollway
I-90 Reconstruction and Widening in Rockford
Rockford, Illinois
SERVICES: Construction management for roadway and bridge reconstruction Jane Addams Memorial Tollway (I-90) from Rockton Road to South Beloit Toll Plaza
SIZE: 1.5 miles
CONSTRUCTION COST: $10.2 million
SIGNIFICANT FEATURES:
- Included widening and reconstruction of mainline interstate pavement, drainage system installation, median construction, electrical improvements and structural rehabilitation
- Responsible for direct oversight of the General Contractor
- Widened the highway to six lanes, easing congestion and reducing travel times

DuPage County Division of Transportation
Maple Avenue Bridge
SERVICES: Construction management for the replacement of Maple Avenue Bridge over the East Branch of the DuPage River
SIZE: 4 lanes
PROJECT COST: $2 million
SIGNIFICANT FEATURES:
- Included replacement of pier stem and bridge super structure, replacement and widening the deck 10 feet, rebuilding and extending abutments and slope walls, installation of bridge approaches and reconstruction of roadway
- Work was done while maintaining two lanes of traffic

Illinois Tollway
I-355 North South Tollway South Extension
SERVICES: Program Controls as part of the Corridor Construction Managers Office for the Tollway extension of the Veterans Memorial Tollway (I-355), including scheduling, cost and time claims, document control and assisting with field inspection on several corridor segments
SIZE: 12.5 miles, six-lane extension
CONSTRUCTION COST: $730 million
SIGNIFICANT FEATURES:
- Over three years extended the Tollway by 12.5 miles with a new 6-lane roadway including construction of 6 new interchanges increasing access to Will County
- Part of the Tollway's Congestion-Relief Program, the extension reduced travel times for those traveling the Tollway as well as local traffic
- Named the #1 Road Project in North America for 2006 by Roads & Bridges magazine
