- 676 St. Clair previously served as an office building, conversion into a state-of-the-art clinic environment required detail-oriented project management and site coordination
- Cardiovascular expansion demanded a sophisticated, multi-phased schedule to efficiently accommodate project needs while continuing uninterrupted patient care

SIGNIFICANT FEATURES:
- Expansion of space requirements for Preventive Medicine and consolidation of space for NUPOC
- Challenges included using creative layout to craft a space that was functional, took advantage of scenic lake views and brought natural light into the space
- Custom designed space features enhanced facilities for education and research, including the expanded Veterans Affairs Chicago Motion Analysis Research Lab, a smart classroom equipped for distance and on-site learning, conference rooms and office space

SIGNIFICANT FEATURES:
- Houses labs, classrooms, conference rooms, environmental and equipment rooms, a digital-imaging facility, darkrooms, greenhouses, insectary, herbarium and an aquatic laboratory
- State-of-the-art research instrumentation includes a complete microscopy facility with transmission and scanning electron microscopes and histology laboratory
- Challenges included complex and confined site logistics, ground water, campus utility tie-ins and orchestrating scheduled move-ins with the University’s academic calendar
